01 Intro

WAYF designs and builds enterprise websites. New builds, redesigns, and the large sites that carry many brands and languages.

Enterprise website development from one design-and-engineering team in Warsaw: a new website, a redesign, or work on the site you already run, on a written scope and a fixed price. The system you land on is yours to keep, with source access, documentation, and editors trained before launch.

  • A written scope and a fixed price, before work starts
  • Design and engineering in one team
  • Yours to keep: open, maintained, no lock-in

02 What we build

Four shapes a website engagement takes. We tell you which one fits before you buy any of them.

A redesign or rebuild

A new design and a new front end, on the system you keep. Content, editorial process, and URLs stay put; the code that renders them is replaced. When the CMS itself is the limit, the move is its own project with its own page. CMS replatforming covers the move.

The large company website

Many brands, many languages, many editors. Governance, approval workflows, and structured content are the real work at this size, and they are scoped in writing like everything else. WAYF has delivered at this scale: Ingersoll Rand's China platform serves more than twenty brand tenants. Read the Ingersoll Rand case study.

The site you keep, improved

Plenty of engagements scope improvements to a platform the client keeps: performance work, editorial workflows, integrations, accessibility, and the maintenance that keeps it secure. If your setup is already well optimised, we say so.

03 What you own

Every build lands as a system your team can run without us. Open, maintained, and handed over properly.

The platforms WAYF builds on are open source and actively maintained — WAYF is a Payload Partner and Top Contributor, and a Framer Pro Enterprise Expert — and every engagement ships with the things ownership actually requires:

  • Source access and full handover documentation
  • Editor training before launch
  • Acceptance criteria that include your team's ability to run it
  • About 90 days of hypercare after launch
  • Ongoing maintenance optional, priced separately
  • An open-source platform, actively maintained

04 After launch

The site keeps changing after launch — campaigns, new pages, new sections. The engagement is built for that.

Support requests and new scope stay separate, new work starts with discovery and sign-off, and maintenance never silently consumes the capacity committed to planned work.

WAYF also runs its own site the way it proposes to run yours: in code, with AI coding agents in the loop, every change reviewed, built by CI, and deployed with a rollback. Where that workflow fits your team, we can set it up — the Engineering with AI service covers how.

05 In production

Enterprise platforms and designed sites, each credited for exactly what WAYF did.

The scale is proven on platform work: Ingersoll Rand's China sites left Oracle Content Manager in five months with zero downtime at cutover, and the Council of Europe Development Bank's events platform shipped to the deadline of the institution's 70-year anniversary.

On the design side: 201 Ventures launched its fund site with WAYF on design and build — the mobile experience designed by WAYF, parts of the desktop reworked, and custom React code integrating its commerce feature. For Rye, WAYF led product UX and strategy for its ChatGPT app and rebuilt the marketing site in Framer, extending the brand Rye already had. The client index carries the rest of the work.

06 How engagements run

Four steps from first call to handover, with the price and date fixed once scope is signed.

  1. 01

    A free consultation

The first call and initial quote are free. The detail you share determines how precise the quote can be. If the work needs a discovery workshop or technical audit before we can scope it, we quote that as a separate engagement.

  2. 02

    Discovery and written scope

Discovery usually runs one to two weeks. Scope is approved in writing by the right decision-maker, with acceptance criteria written before the first commit. Once the scope is signed, the price and delivery date are fixed, and any later change is documented with its effect on budget or timeline.

  3. 03

    Design and build

A focused build runs four to eight weeks after sign-off, and most engagements run two to three months from first call to handover. Your quote includes a delivery date and at least one pre-launch milestone, so your team can test against the acceptance criteria while there is still time to resolve issues.

  4. 04

    Launch, handover, hypercare

You receive source access and full handover documentation, and editors are trained before launch. We usually recommend about 90 days of hypercare so production issues are resolved quickly while your team settles in. Ongoing maintenance is optional, and support requests stay separate from new scope.

07 Common questions

Questions we get asked before the first call.

  1. How much does a new company website cost?

The first call and initial quote are free, and the price follows the actual inputs: how many page types the design covers, the volume of content that moves, the integration list, and how many languages the site runs in. Once the scope is signed, the price and delivery date are fixed, and any later change is documented with its effect on budget or timeline.

  2. How long does a website project take?

Discovery usually runs one to two weeks, and a focused build runs four to eight weeks after scope sign-off. Most engagements run two to three months from first call to handover; enterprise projects with heavier integrations are typically three to five months. Your quote includes a delivery date and at least one pre-launch milestone.

  3. Can you redesign our website without changing the CMS?

Yes. When the constraint is the design or an ageing front end and the CMS still earns its keep, the rebuild happens on top of what you have: content, editorial process, and URLs stay put. When the system itself is the limit — an end-of-life date, licence economics, a content model it cannot express — that move is scoped through our CMS replatforming service.

  4. Do you design the website, or only build it?

Both, in one team. 201 Ventures launched its fund site with WAYF on design and build, with the mobile experience designed by WAYF and parts of the desktop reworked. For Rye, WAYF led product UX and strategy for its ChatGPT app and rebuilt the marketing site in Framer, extending the brand Rye already had.

  5. Do you work with large companies?

Yes. Ingersoll Rand's China sites and the Council of Europe Development Bank's events platform run on platforms WAYF delivered. We are based in Warsaw, Poland, on Central European Time, with full working-day overlap with London and Western Europe and four hours with US Eastern.

  6. Who runs the website after launch?

Your team. The acceptance criteria include your team's ability to run the platform, handover includes source access, documentation, and editor training, and we usually recommend about 90 days of hypercare while your team settles in. Ongoing maintenance is optional and priced separately.

  7. What do you build websites on?

For content platforms, mainly Payload, where WAYF is a Partner and Top Contributor. For visually authored marketing sites, Framer, where WAYF is a Pro Enterprise Expert. We have also shipped on Contentful, Strapi, Wagtail, and others, which helps when a project starts from one of those systems.

08 Get in touch

Bring the site you have, or the brief for the one you need. Scope comes back in writing.

Whether or not you end up working with WAYF, you will leave the first conversation with a clearer read on what the project involves, what it would preserve, and what a reasonable first step looks like.
